The Hard Tackle takes a look at the best betting markets for the top fixtures ahead of the ninth game-week of the Premier League.

Another game-week, another lineup of sumptuous fixtures at hand for the viewers and fans of the English Premier League. Tottenham travel to face Bournemouth, Arsenal host Middlesbrough, Liverpool face Tony Pulis’ West Brom while Manchester City play hosts to a Southampton side with a string of good performances under their belt. But, the Sunday meeting of Chelsea and Manchester United takes the cake as Stamford Bridge prepares for the return of their Special One, albeit in the past.

The Hard Tackle takes a look at the potentially profitable markets available in the top matches:

Favourable Bets result for Gameweek 8 : 5/10

The Hard Tackle aggregate : 37/72 , 1 full return

Note : From this weekend and going forward, The Hard Tackle has decided to also show you the average aggregate odds of each game-week thereby giving a better analysis of the overall result.

Note : Another addition is the calculation of the results of the Underdog Bets henceforth.

1. AFC Bournemouth vs Tottenham FC

Tottenham go into the match as the only team yet to face defeat in the Premier League campaign thus far while Bournemouth host Spurs invigorated by a thumping 6-1 defeat of Hull in the previous league fixture. Tottenham have seen their momentum slip with two consecutive draws against West Brom and Bayer Leverkusen respectively and would look to get back to winning ways as they face Eddie Howe’s side in an early Saturday kickoff.

Favourable bets :

1. Over 2.5 Match goals @ 1.75

2. Tottenham to win @ 1.95

3. Over 10.5 Corners @ 1.80

4. Asian handicap corners Tottenham -0.5 @ 1.70

Underdog Bets :

1. Over 3.5 Match Goals @ 2.75

2. Over 12 Corners @ 2.62

2. Liverpool FC vs West Bromwich Albion

Liverpool come into the game on the back of a stale 0-0 result against Manchester United at Anfield. The Reds attack failed to trouble the scorekeepers for only the second time this season as United contained the Liverpool threat admirably. And, if United could muster up such a feat, Liverpool’s next fixture is not going to be an easy task either.

They face a West Brom side who have let in only 8 goals this season averaging 1 goal conceded per game. Tony Pulis are right up there with top teams in terms of the least amount of goals conceded, tied fourth with the two Manchester clubs. The away side comes into the game on the back of a 4 game unbeaten run which includes a 4-2 battering of West Ham and a 1-1 draw against Tottenham.

Favourable Bets :

1. West Brom +1.5 @ 2.075

2. Over 3.5 cards @ 1.83

Underdog Bets :

1. West Brom clean sheet YES @ 10.00

3. Manchester City vs Southampton FC

Manchester City have seen their juggernaut slowed down by a string of poor results. A loss to Tottenham was followed by a 1-1 draw of Everton and that was followed by a thumping at the hands of Guardiola’s former home, Barcelona.

Southampton, on the other hand, come into the game on the back of a little run and could pose Citizens some problems. Sergio Aguero has been benched for two games in a row with cracks starting to appear in the City armour.

Favourable Bets :

1. Southampton +1.0, +1.5 Asian Handicap @ 1.825

2. City Clean Sheet – NO @ 1.57

Underdog Bets :

1. Goalscorer Match Bet – Charlie Austin over Sergio Aguero @ 5.50

4. Chelsea FC vs Manchester United FC

Jose Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge around a year after he was let go by the club after a disastrous start to the season. Mourinho’s United have finally started to look good and despite a 0-0 draw against Liverpool, it would give the Red Devils more confidence going into the game.

Conte seems to have also turned it around with a couple of good results after two straight losses. Manchester United have not had the best of times against Chelsea in recent matches but that, in large, has been during Mourinho’s reign at Chelsea and with the Portuguese now on the other side, the Red Devils would look to put their Chelsea horrors to bed.

Favourable Bets :

1. Chelsea Asian Handicap Cards +0.5 @ 1.90

2. Manchester United Asian Handicap 0.0, +0.5 @ 2.025

Underdog Bets :

1. Manchester United win @ 3.75

2. Red Card in match – YES @ 3.25
