Italian club AC Milan look to sign a player who has found himself largely ignored in the first team picture at Manchester United, and could well be attracted by a move to Italy to get more playing time.

Marouane Fellaini has not been having the best of times at Manchester United and has not seen much tie with the first team this season, and according to Italian publication Corriere della Sera, is one of the top transfer targets for Serie A side AC Milan, with the Rossoneri willing to pay 20 million Euros for the Belgian midfielder. Fellaini has made only 10 appearances for the Red Devils this season and most of them have come off the bench, and it sees likely that he will be enticed by a move to AC Milan, as it will help him get more regular game time.

Good catch for Milan if it happens

The 28-year old Belgian was a highly rated player during his days at Everton FC, but has fallen by the wayside since he was brought to Manchester United by former mentor David Moyes. Fellaini is very strong in aerial duels, is a physical threat in the opposition penalty area, and could thrive given the right kind of service from the wings.

The price is also an attractive bargain for AC Milan under new manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, as they try to ward off financial restrictions while getting good players at the same time. According to the report, Milan are looking to secure a loan deal at first, which could then be turned into a permanent deal.
