Robert Lewandowski has been setting the Bundesliga on fire this season with brilliant goals this season, and FC Bayern Munich have been reaping full rewards of that, as they are yet to lose a match in the league.

However, the Polish striker, who became an instant hero in Bavaria after his move from Borussia Dortmund, has not always had it easy. In an advertisement for a Chinese telecommunications company, Lewandowski describes the struggles he had to face before turning pro and also in the initial few years as a professional football player.

The Bayern Munich star has had to face many rejections from people who thought he was too small in stature to play. He also says that he was once rejected by a club after suffering an injury, when he was 17 years old. However, the striker has shown great determination to turn his career around, and become one of the most feared goalscorers in the world.
