The Chelsea FC manager received unequivocal support from the Stamford Bridge crowd on Wednesday, with Blues fans chanting his name on several occasions during the 2-1 win over Dynamo Kyiv.
The Portuguese is facing the worst ever spell of his managerial career in terms of results, and many believed the defeat to Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge on Saturday would sound the death-knell for his second spell in charge of Chelsea FC.
However, Roman Abramovich seems to have — at least temporarily — held off on making any decisions, and the Blues’ faithful left nobody in doubt as to what they wanted. Throughout the game, there were chants of ‘Jos Mourinho’ around the stadium, and the manager was emotional as he acknowledged this display of support during the game.
