Mesut zil seems to be the strongest force within Arsenal FC, as they make their way towards a credible challenge after many years.

The German playmaker was the hero of the night for the Gunners, in spite of him not scoring even a single goal. What he did however, is to set up Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud to score the two goals that got Arsenal FC the all-important win against title-rivals Manchester City.

Not only did zil set Walcott up for the first goal, but he also expertly got out of the way of Walcott’s shot that went on to scorch City keeper Joe Hart’s net. Here is the video of Walcott’s goal.

Although he had his back towards the goal when he recieved a pass from Walcott, zil showed great vision for the second goal, as he expertly spun and played Giroud into the channel between the defenders. Here is a video of the second goal.

This last video is for the true tactician in all football fans. This is a video of zil’s movements and overall play against Manchester City during the Monday-night match.
