The defensive midfielder is not known for his goal-scoring prowess, but has been honing his shooting skills in training with his national team during the international break

Manchester United star Morgan Schneiderlin was controversially dropped by manager Louis van Gaal in the Red Devils’ 3-0 loss to Arsenal FC at the Emirates, with Michael Carrick and Bastian Schweinsteiger preferred to the Frenchman in central midfield.

Given how badly that particular experiment went — largely owing to the Gunners’ passing skills and the lack of pace between the two — it won’t be long before Schneiderlin is back in the Manchester United line-up.

And if his volley in the France training session is anything to go by, his confidence doesn’t seem to have been affected one bit.
