FC Barcelona travel to Belarus, to take on tournament minnows BATE Borisov. Manager Luis Enrique has warned his side of not underestimating the tie, and to expect a tough game.
The Catalans are hoping to create history by becoming the first team to become back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners.
To do so, they have to first negotiate the group stage – the first hurdle. Having drawn their opening game against Roma in Rome and beaten Bayer Leverkusen narrowly at Camp Nou, the Catalans have back-to-back games against BATE, which are must win, if they are to qualify as group winners.
Warning the side as to not underestimate the Belarus side, Enrique said, in the pre-match press conference, that he expects a tough game and the Catalans will work as a team. Here’s a video of the press conference.
