Former Manchester United right-back and legend Gary Neville has completed the transition from a title-winning member of the great United sides under Sir Alex Ferguson to a pundit on Sky Sports. The defender recently spoke to students at the University of Salford to offer them his experience.

Neville admitted that he knew he was never as talented as Beckham or Scholes to continue playing as a midfield player and hence switched to center-half and fullback positions.

He also says that he did not socialize for two years to compete with his much more talented teammates and make it to the Manchester United first team.
