Manchester United star stopper David de Gea was the star of the show, as he frustrated the Ukrainians with some stunning saves as Spain edged them out 1-0.

De Gea was one of the star performers on the night as Spain manager Vicente del Bosque rested a string of first-team regulars.

Cesc Fabregas’ goal was enough for Spain to edge out the Eastern European outfit, who still have a chance to make it to the Euro 2016 if they win their play-off.

De Ge, meanwhile, is enjoying a fine season following the breakdown of his proposed move to Real Madrid in the summer.
