FC Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has hinted that Pedro, a target for Manchester United and Chelsea FC, could leave the club for more game-time.

Pedroa s future at FC Barcelona has been subject to intense speculation despite the player signing a new deal in the summer.

The arrival of new signing Arda Turan to add to the already existing trio of Neymar, Messi, Suarez means Pedroa s chances might be limited at the club.

The player himself was quoted saying earlier that he was unsure about his future and his buyout clause recently dropped from a 150 million to a 30m

Busquets admits Pedro could leave

Sergio Busquets has now admitted that the player could leave in search of more game time. Speaking before Saturdaya s tour match with Manchester United in Santa Clara, said: a Yes, I have spoken to him but I wona t tell you what he said. It was a private conversation”

a I would want him to stay, I would love him to stay. He is a friend of mine and it will be his final decision. He wants to play more and get more minutes. Thata s what he wants.”

a But we are in a team of great players and ita s hard for him. Finally it will be his decision but I hope he stays.a

Where could Pedroa s future lie?

FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique had stressed earlier this month that he wants Pedro to stay at the club, but has now admitted that the player could leave should his release clause was to be met.

a Pedro? If he wants to go, a club will have to meet his release clause,a Luis Enrique was quoted as saying by Sport.

Both, Manchester United and Chelsea FC would be attractive options for Pedro.Whilst recent reports claim Manchester United are favourites for the Spanish winger, earlier reports in Catalan media stated Chelsea FC are leading the race a with Pedro allegedly having had conversations with manager Jos Mourinho which the player later denied.

One would think that Pedro will use these coming six months till Turan is ineligible to play for FC Barcelona to see where he stands and could decide his next move in January if not in the summer.
