According to German publication Kicker, “His (Guardiola’s) new employer is clear. Kicker has confirmed from reliable sources that Pep Guardiola will be leaving Bayern Munich for Manchester City, even though Manuel Pellegrini is tied down there till summer 2017.”

Kicker goes on to add that the deal has been in the making for a year now, but has recently been confirmed. Guardiola’s decision was also influenced by the fact that he is good friends with Manchester City CEO, Ferran Soriano and Sports Director Txiki Begiristain, both of whom have worked with the manager before at Barcelona.

Unstoppable Manchester City .

With the arrival of a manager of the stature of Pep Guardiola, Manchester City now have all the ingredients required to be a powerhouse in the footballing world and that’s without taking into consideration the tactical genius and new players that the ex-Barcelona coach will bring in once he takes charge.
