Paul Pogba’s agent has confirmed that the French international could soon make a sensational move away from Juventus with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester United keen to sign the midfielder.
Paul Pogba’s agent has claimed that the French midfielder could leave Juventus in the coming summer transfer window but could be convinced to stay on till the end of the next season. However the agent insisted that Pogba would definitely leave the club by the end of the next season and is likely to make a big money move to a ‘big club’ in Europe.
Mino Raiola claims that Juventus should cash in on the sale of Paul Pogba and build a team to win the Champions League as they currently do not have the money to acquire the players needed to support the French midfielder.
“My father always said that it’s better to sell and then to regret it than not to sell and regret it. If you sell Pogba, you’ve got enough money to build a side that can win the Champions League.”
“If you want to keep hold of him, then you’ve got to build a side strong enough for Pogba to improve in — but if you don’t sell him, you don’t have the money to do that. Everybody has got a card in their hand, and it’s all about when you play it.”
The agent also confirmed that Juventus cannot hold on to the midfielder for a long time and that Pogba will soon make a sensational move away from the club.
“If it’s not this year, it will be the year after. All I want is that whoever wants to buy him really believes in him and pays him the world, and if Paul leaves Juve he does it to go to the very top. He is a [future] Ballon d’Or winner, like [Pavel] Nedved.”
“He’s the only star player available to buy this summer and, if somebody wants him, just you watch how the market drives the value above 100 million. If you can’t get [Cristiano] Ronaldo, [Lionel] Messi or [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, then you can only get him.”
The agent even went on to list Pogba’s possible replacements, identifying Borussia Dortmund’s Mkhitaryan as the best candidate.
“The feeling between him and Dortmund has broken down. Then there is [Memphis] Depay and Felipe Anderson, Rodrigo Ely, who is sensational, [Ricardo] Kischna from Ajax, who would be perfect. There is [Jetro] Willems from PSV, then certainly [Marco] Verratti in the midfield.”
Manchester United have been closely linked with a move to bring back Paul Pogba who left the club in 2012 after he fell out with Sir Alex Ferguson. Real Madrid and PSG are also closely monitoring the situation and are likely to bid for the young Frenchman. With most clubs eagerly waiting to snatch the young midfielder away from Juventus, it will be interesting to see how this transfer saga pans out in the coming months.
