Liverpool are readying a A?22m bid for Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev.

Liverpool are going to make a A?22 million move for Real Madrida s Denis Cheryshev, according to the Mirror.

The Reds have been linked with the Russian winger since the start of the window and the player has been targeted as a potential Raheem Sterling replacement.

The Englishman seems adamant about leaving and the Reds need to ensure something like last season doesn’t repeat when they failed to replace Luis Suarez adequately.

According to the report in the Mirror, Rafael Benitez has received a bid from the Reds for the Russian and will contemplate over the matter and discuss it with his bosses.
