Speaking ahead of Real Madrida s Champions League clash against PSG, injured Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema revealed that he has no plans of leaving the Spanish capital in the future. The Frenchman also spoke about his injury and said that he did not want to rush his return in a bid to be fit for the much anticipated clash.

Karim Benzema has enjoyed a good start this season after scoring 6 goals in the La Liga in as many outings. However, the Frenchman picked up an injury with his national team and looks set to miss Real Madrida s tie against PSG on Wednesday

As reported by Marca, Benzema said in an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche that though he was trying to regain his fitness, he did not want to rush his return. The striker also praised PSG and revealed that he was expecting a difficult match against the French champions.

“I’m doing everything in my power to come back as soon as possible. I’m working hard to be available to play in Wednesday’s match in Paris, but I don’t want to rush things. We know it’s going to be difficult against them.a

After being continuously linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, Benzema also used the opportunity to squash all transfer rumours as he claimed that he has no reason to leave Real Madrid.
