The former Real Madrid man has often come under criticism for his perceived lack of effort on the field but big things were expected from the German, having participated in his first ever pre-season campaign with the Gunners. However, both Ozil and Arsenal FC have failed to deliver on the expectations on the back of a perfect pre-season.
