Ajax manager Frank De Boer has admitted that he will be interested in managing Liverpool FC should an opportunity arrive.

Liverpool FC boss Brendan Rodgers is under considerable pressure after a poor 2014-15 season and a bad start to the current campaign which has not only seen the Reds win a lowly three out of ten games but also put in some of the worst performance of his tenure.

Liverpool play Everton this weekend, and the rumor mill keeps getting more and more intense. There is considerable speculation stating Rodgers is on the brink of losing his job should he not get a positive result against Everton.

The Anfield hotseat has been a hotly debated topic in the media and names such as Carlo Ancelotti, Jurgen Klopp and now, Ajax manager Frank de Boer have been linked with the job.

De Boer throws his hat in the ring for the Liverpool FC job

De Boer was one of the prime candidate for the job at Anfield back when Brendan Rodgers was chosen to take the managerial reign at Anfield by FSG.

With the Reds manager under increased pressure, De Boer has made it quite clear that he is looking for “another adventure”.

a Yes, I think every year (moving to the Premier League) comes closer of course,a De Boer told the BBC World Service, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

a Ia m looking maybe for another adventure. If there is an interesting club that I think with my quality I can make that team better a if I can, than I will take that chance.

a They are fantastic clubs. Liverpool and Newcastle – with supporters behind them – it is a fantastic environment to coach but this year it is important for me to do well at Ajax and then we will see.a

The 45-year old Dutch manager has largely had a successful stint as the manager of the Eredivisie giants, but, his last campaign ended with Ajax being some way off the eventual champions PSV Eindhoven.
