Chelsea FC striker Diego Costa isn’t really having a good time at the club right now and he has constantly been linked with a move back to his former club Atletico de Madrid. .

Costa has had a terrible season so far, scoring 4 goals in all competitions and his tiffs with manager Jose Mourinho have been hogging the headlines. The Spaniard recently played up the possibilities of a transfer back to his former club Atletico Madrid, where he spent the major part of his career so far.

a You never know, look where Filipe Luis is now,a the 27-year-old said to Spanish Radio Station Onda Cero when asked about a possible return to the Rojiblanco, according to goal.com.

a Life takes plenty of twists and turns – I always wish Atletico the best and I always follow them, support them from far.a

Costa Could Face Off Against Former Club In The Champions League

Both Chelsea FC and Atletico de Madrid have qualified for the round of 16 in the Champions League after topping their respective groups. Although the clubs cannot play each other in the draw for the round of 16, there is a possibility that should they progress further in the competition, they would have to play each other at some stage.

Diego Costa does not enjoy the prospect of playing his former club and if he has to, would like it to be on the grandest stage of them all.

a Hopefully we dona t have to play them… Theya re uncomfortable to play against. If I could choose, I would choose to play them in the final.a
