Atl tico Madrid are close to signing Celta Vigo’s Nolito, according to various reports.

The former Barcelona and Benfica forward enjoyed quite a stellar season with Celta Vigo which also resulted him in getting a big break with Spain last year as he won his first senior cap in November.

Premier League side Everton were linked with a whopping A?13m bid for the player. But it seems that the Toffees are going to miss out on the winger as Atl tico Madrid have expressed their desire to sign the player.


Nolito has four years left on his Celta contract and has buy-out clause of 18 million euros, which is roughly around A?13m (Everton’s reported bid). AS report that Celta Vigo will be ready to accept a sum in the A?10m region.
