Manchester United and FC Barcelona transfer target Arturo Vidal has stated his intention to stay at Juventus despite all the rumours.

The Chilean international has been at the center of a lot of transfer speculation this season with both Manchester United and Barcelona being linked with a move for him in the summer. But Vidal has rubbished all these rumours and has claimed that he is happy at Juventus and is looking to win the Champions League with the Italian side next season.

“I am going to stay at Juventus, I don’t listen to anything that is being said from Spain.

“The president Agnelli has asked me to win the Champions League next season, and, as I have said many times, I am happy in Turin and my family is fine.

“For that reason I have no desire to listen to the speculation people are talking about.” – The Juventus midfielder said in an interview.

David Moyes has reportedly marked him as one of his transfer targets in the summer as Manchester United look for major signings in order to get back on track. They were linked with both Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal in the winter transfer window itself, but any deal failed to materialize. Meanwhile, reports in Spain suggest that Barcelona are also keen to bolster their squad in the summer and they are lining up a move for Arturo Vidal. El Mundo Deportivo reported that the Catalan giants will offer Alexis Sanchez as a part of player plus cash deal to Juventus in their efforts to sign Vidal.

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and PSG have also monitored Vidal’s situation at Juventus and could provide competition for Manchester United and Barcelona. Vidal’s current contract expires in 2017, a deal which he signed last year, and it will take a humongous bid to make Juventus even consider an offer for their prized asset. The 26-year-old has been a key part of their squad since his move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011 as Juventus has gone on to dominate Serie A. He is widely considered as one of the best midfielders in the world and this season he has already scored 19 goals and provided five assists in all competitions as Juventus heads towards another Serie A title.
