Midfielder Santiago Cazorla feels Arsenal have three World Class players at their disposal – Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Özil and Laurent Koscielny.

Spanish midfielder Santiago Cazorla, who was found form playing a deeper role for The Gunners and was also excellent in the weekend win against West Brom, has hailed three of his teammates as ‘world class’. The 29-year old said that there are many good players at Arsenal but pointed out the trio as one of the best in the world.

“Well we have many really good players. But, of course, the most recent example is Alexis Sanchez,” Cazorla told FourFourTwo. “His performances at Arsenal have been really first class. I knew of him from when he was at Barcelona and he’s a player who’s going to be very important for Arsenal.”

“Mesut Ozil is another footballer whose qualities are recognisable to everybody in the world from his time at Real Madrid. He’s a spectacular player.

“Looking elsewhere, Laurent Koscielny for me is a great defender and there are very few players like him in the world. Of course I could give you more but I think these three are good examples.”

Alexis Sanchez has been fantastic for Arsenal so far. The Chilean could arguably be termed as the best signing in the Premier League this season. Since his £32m move from Barcelona, the winger has been putting some impressive performance for the Gunners. Sanchez has at times been inspiring, almost carrying the team on his shoulders. He has netted 13 goals in 20 games in all competitions since his arrival to England.

Mesut Özil started very well for Arsenal after he moved to the club from Real Madrid for a club-record £42.5 million in 2013. However, the German been less impressive with lack of consistency and inability to adapt to the playing style being the highlights of his Premier League career so far. Nevertheless, no one can doubt his talents which were on display quite frequently at Real Madrid and he also was an integral part of Germany’s World Cup winning squad.

Central defender Laurent Koscielny has been a reliable and vital figure in the Arsenal set-up. The Frenchman alongside Per Mertesacker was vital to Arsenal’s defensive record last season, which was the best in the Premier League. However, Koscielny has suffered from injury setbacks the last few months, which has created defensive woes for boss Arsene Wenger. But the French international is back to full fitness and has shown signs of recreating his impressive central defensive partnership with Per Mertesacker.
