Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he will not make any signing at least till the conclusion of the World Cup.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in the likes of Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba. All these players are participating in the World Cup in Brazil.

This website had reported on Friday that a meeting took place between Ancelotti and president Florentino Perez on Thursday to discuss the possible transfer targets of this summer. And coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted to having discussed possible new signings with the club’s top brass, but confirmed that there would be no signings “until after the World Cup”.

“We’re in no rush and we don’t need to bring in a lot of players. We have until 31st August”, Ancelotti was talking to Marca.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently struggling with his fitness but the Italian said that he is not aware of his current situation: “We haven’t spoken to Portugal’s medical staff”.

Meanwhile, Di María has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid. But the coach confirmed that the Argentine is going nowhere. “I have no doubt that he’ll stay”.

Recent reports coming from England has linked Casillas with Arsenal. But Ancelotti stressed that the captain is very happy at the club. He said: “The club has spoken to Casillas, who is very happy and is going to stay. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next season in goal”.

Real Madrid has just won record 10th UEFA Champions League and Ancelotti is seemingly proud of his clubs’ achievement. “It’s a very special achievement. We’ve given the fans a lot of joy and that’s what’s most important”.

“I’ve been coaching for 19 years. I have experience, but I still have the same passion as I did on my first day. The day I no longer feel that passion it will be time to call it quits. Everything has gone well in Madrid: I like the city, the people are similar to Italians, I really like everything about it”.

When asked about potential additions in the midfield, Ancelotti refused to name any specific player and said that the return of Khedira is enough for him. “We will have Khedira back next year, which is a boost for our midfield”.
