Real Madrid management have refused to discuss the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Manchester United next summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Machester United since past few weeks, with reports coming from England claiming that the Old Trafford side preparing a package worth 140 million pounds for the Portuguese superstar. But the Spanish giants are not willing to let Ronaldo go and they have asked the player to concentrate on his Real Madrid career only.
Meanwhile, football website Goal.com has also confirmed that Real Madrid has asked Ronaldo to forget about the move to Manchester United. The Goal.com report claims that: “Real Madrid have made it clear to Cristiano Ronaldo that they have no intention of allowing him to return to Manchester United this summer. New Old Trafford manager Louis van Gaal publicly stated an interest in signing the 29-year-old last week, but the Champions League holders have ruled out the possibility of Ronaldo leaving the Bernabeu at the end of the season and have refused to discuss a price for the forward.”
Real Madrid sold Angel di Maria to Manchester United during the summer transfer window and this move has not gone down with the Portuguese star. Ronaldo even criticized the club president openly after the sale of Di Maria, only to take his words back later on. But this transfer saga surrounding Angel Di Maria opened the new set of speculations in the English media, claiming that Manchester United are interested in bringing back Ronaldo to Old Trafford.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal also claimed last week that he would like to see Ronaldo to the Old Trafford. But Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti claimed immediately that the player is not moving anywhere.
Ancelotti said last week that: “I can’t imagine Real Madrid without Cristiano Ronaldo. These are meaningless rumours. He is really happy to be at Real Madrid and Madrid fans are very happy with him.”
Meanwhile, the reported package of 140 million is also not expected to lure Real Madrid to part ways with their star striker as they are very much aware of the income generation ability of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo currently earns more than 21 million euros at Real Madrid and the Los Blancos generate huge commercial income because of the CR7. President Florentino Perez is well aware of this reality and he has refused to even discuss a fee for the 29-year-old.
