Real Madrid already have an agreement in place for both Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas and Los Blancos are set to unveil their new stars at 17:00 hrs at the Santiago Bernabéu today.

Real Madrid already have a deal in place for World Cup winner Toni Kroos and the only remaining part is the formal announcement. Kroos himself had confirmed yesterday that he will be playing for current European Champions next season. “I’ll be going to Madrid either tomorrow or the day after,” Kroos said.

Kroos was a key member of Germany’s World Cup winning squad as he completed highest number of passes in the tournament and he’s been linked with Real Madrid since past couple of months. Manchester United were also interested in Kroos’s services but it appears that Real Madrid have beaten them in this transfer battle.

Toni Kroos had only one year left to his contract with Beyrn Munich and both the parties failed to reach into an agreement to extend the stay of the player at Allianz Arena. The Bavarian giants decided to sell the player in order to avoid his free exit next summer.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Toni Kroos will open the exit door for another German, Sami Khedira. Khedira has only one year left in his contract and reportedly, Real Madrid management is not ready to extend it. Arsenal are on the verge of securing the signature of Khedira and the deal is expected to be announced later this week.

However, Toni Kroos will not be the only arrival at Santiago Berbabeu today. Costa Rica goal keeper Keylor Navas will also be unveiled by Real Madrid today. Real Madrid have activated the 10 million buy-out clause of the player and his club Levante have also agreed to the deal.

Reportedly, the arrival of Navas will open the exit door for Diego Lopez. The 31 year old Lopez was the regular starter for Madrid last season in La Liga but coach Ancelotti wants to replace him with the World Cup star of Costa Rica.

Diego Lopez is attracting the interest from Rafa Benitez’s SSC Napoli and French side AS Monaco. Levente were forced to sell Navas as there was only a year left in the player’s contract and he was not ready to extend it. Real Madrid have beaten the likes of Bayern Munich, city rivals Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, FC Porto and AS Monaco for the signature of Navas.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Navas will not have any impact on the future of Casillas as he will remain the regular starter for all Champions League and Copa Del Rey games.
