Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is forced to look into the market because of the long term injury to Luka Modric and the club is planning a move for promising youngsters Christoph Kramer & Lucas Silva during the winter transfer window.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has already made it clear that he does not want to sign any player during the winter transfer window but long term injury to indispensible Luka Modric has forced the Los Blancos coach to alter his plans.
Along with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric has become a key member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. And his recent injury has forced the authorities at Real Madrid to look into the market for the possible alternatives which includes Christoph Kramer and Lucas Silva.
Meanwhile, reports coming from Spain have confirmed the interest of Real Madrid in signing Christoph Kramer and Lucas Silva. Madrid based sports daily Marca has claimed in its report today that: “Florentino Pérez is not keen on signing players in December, but with Modric out injured and the ongoing uncertainty about Khedira, the situation has changed. The Real Madrid board have therefore decided to speed up the search for a player who can take the pressure off Kroos, James or Isco to some extent. Cruzeiro central defender Lucas Silva’s name is at the top of the list of possible reinforcements, and if the club manages to get him for about 10 million euros or even less, then he would become a Real Madrid player on 1st January. Kramer is another possibility being considered by the Real Madrid board.”
Lucas Silva of Brazil is considered as one of the hottest properties in world football as the youngster has shown a great promise for his parent club Cruzeiro in past few months. And along with Real Madrid, the likes of Manchester United, Inter Milan and AS Roma are also keeping a tab on the progress of Lucas Silva.
The Real Madrid authorities believe that an offer of 10 million euros would be enough to sign the Brazilian youngster. However, the factor going against possible signing of Lucas Silva is his inexperience as the club wants the player who can make an immediate impact.
Another player who is drawing the attention of Real Madrid authorities is Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christoph Kramer. Like Lucas Silva, Christoph Kramer is also a highly sought after player in Europe at the moment as the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in his services.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is a big admirer of young Christoph Kramer’s talent and the factor going in Los Blancos’ favor is the eagerness of the player to join the club. Speaking about the possible move to Real Madrid, Christoph Kramer had said recently that: “I wish I had cut out and hung that article on my wall. To be linked with Real Madrid is an enormous honour for me.”
