Real Madrid secured a record breaking 19th consecutive victory over Ludogorets to finish their Champions League group stage with hundred percent win record and Carlo Ancelotti paid the tribute to his “fantastic” players after the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale struck in the first half while second half goals from Alvaro Arbeloa and youngster Alvaro Medran helped Real Madrid to secure an easy victory over Ludogorets to make it six wins out of six in Champions League Group B for Los Blancos.

Real Madrid were already guaranteed a top spot in their group but they secured maximum points for the second time in Champions League, which also is a new record, and coach Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for his Galacticos.

Speaking in a press conference after the victory against Ludogorets, Carlo Ancelotti said that: “Not even I could’ve imagined that we’d win 19 straight games. This team has reached these records through extraordinary professionalism. I don’t get tired of saying that these players are fantastic,” he said.

“The relationship with my players is very good. Anytime I can thank them, I do. I always appreciate that the relationship we have is very good and I feel great support from the club.”

Meanwhile, Isco, who started the game in absence of Luka Modric and James Rodrigues, said that it was a “perfect group phase” for Real Madrid.

“We have completed the perfect group phase,” said Isco. ”I’m so happy for the team’s great run. Today has been a comfortable game, as they had a player sent off very early. But we are very happy for how the team is playing. Now we expect the run to last as long as we can manage.”

“On a night like this we should be happy and celebrate the 19 consecutive winning games. The team is willing to keep doing it right, winning as many games as we can. But what matters in the end is winning titles.”

There is a injury crisis in Real Madrid as the likes of Luka Modric and James Rodrigues are out but Isco said that coach Carlo Ancelotti knows how to overcome this situation.

Isco said: “We have had many injuries lately but these are football issues. Ancelotti knows how to handle it and lead the team, but we hope not to have more injuries. I just want to keep helping my mates.”
