Real Madrid are planning a last minute move for Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez. Hernandez is seen as the contingency plan if Los Blancos cannot seal a deal for either Falcao or Negredo.
Karim Benzema is the only specialist striker in this Real Madrid squad and Carlo Ancelotti has asked President Florentino Perez to sign another number 9 before the closure of this transfer window. Radamel Falcao is the first choice of Real Madrid but the club is keeping the option of Javier Hernandez wide open too.
Reports coming from Spain and England have also confirmed the interest of Real Madrid in Javier Hernandez. The Daily Mail report claims that: “Real Madrid have asked about a loan for Javier Hernandez. The Champions League winners have enqiured about the Manchester United striker’s availability in case they miss out on Radamel Falcao or Alvaro Negredo. The Mexican is out of favour at Old Trafford and was an unused substitute in the victory against Burnley on Saturday.”
Javier Hernandez does not enjoy the faith of new boss Louis van Gaal at Manchester United and the club has asked the Mexican to find a new club. Italian champions Juventus are also interested in signing Hernandez from United.
Radamel Falcao has been linked with a move to Real Madrid since past couple of months but no progress has been made over the possible transfer. Recent reports have linked Real with a move for Manchester City strike Alvaro Negredo too. But City boss Manuel Pelligrini confirmed earlier this week that he will not let the Spaniard leave the club.
Javier Hernandes is having a torrid time at Manchester United as the likes of Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and Danny Welbeck are ahead of him in the pecking order and he has no future at Old Trafford.
Real Madrid are most likely to make a loan offer for the Mexican international though. The club already has spent huge money during this transfer window and President Florentino Perez is in no mood to spend cash on Hernandez.
Radamel Falcao claims Real Madrid tweet a ‘photo montage’
AS Monaco star Radamel Falcao has denied posting a Twitter comment that claimed he was close to joining Real Madrid.
Falcao has been linked with a move to Real Madrid whole this summer but he has denied of making any such remarks. A comment on Falcao’s official Twitter account, which was later deleted, read: “Dream come true #halamadrid”.
In a later post Falcao stressed that the first tweet was fake, saying: “I have to refute a story about a tweet I have not done and that is a photo montage.”
