The Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to splash out 70 million euros for the Liverpool FC striker Luis Suarez.
Real Madrid have started to send feelers about the possible transfer of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. Real are in touch with his representatives and are very keen to sign off the deal before the World Cup begins. This news is coming just after Liverpool signed a four and half year deal with the star striker.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelloti is quite keen to buy the striker who has been in red hot form this season. He is also ready to sell striker Karim Benzema in order to accommodate Suarez into the squad.
Suarez, who had been the most dominating player in Premier League this season, has also won the FA Player Of The Year award this month. He is the top scorer in EPL this season with 31 goals. His reputation has risen in last few years due to his amazing consistency and ability to score goals at crucial moments.
Suarez’s form has attracted many clubs to hire his services for them, and Real Madrid have been tracking the Reds striker since last summer. And are ready to make a luring 70 million euro deal for him.
Arsenal, had shown interest in the striker last season by offering a 40 million euro deal, but the Reds squashed any possibility of transferring him at that time.
That is why Real want to be 100% sure that the transfer deal is successful and ready to raise the price if required.
On the other hand, Liverpool is confident enough that the striker will remain with them, after his current statement where he denied any possibility of him going away from Anfield.
But things still remain gloomy as Real Madrid are confident and firm on their stand of his transfer.
Arsenal are also looking at this deal as an opportunity to acquire ace striker Karim Benzema from Real Madrid. Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger wants to strengthen its attack and the Frenchman is at top of his priority list. That deal is supposed to go forward after FA cup final, where the Gunners will take on Hull City.
Although Real coach Carlo Ancelloti has his eyes set on the Uruguayan striker, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez wants to have Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero moved in to his team.
With both teams remaining firm on their stand, it still remains a mystery, whether the Uruguayan stays at Anfield or joins the mighty Real Madrid.
