Real Madrid are ready to sell Alvaro Morata this summer and wants to replace him with Hoffenheim youngster Joselu.

The likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus are interested in signing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid and the club also knows that it will be difficult to keep the youngster as they can’t offer him regular play time.

Hoffenheim youngster Joselu is a product of Real Madrid youth academy who moved to Germany two years ago for a fee of 6 million euros. However, Real Madrid inserted a clause in his contract that they will have an option to buy him back for 12 millions. And now, Real Madrid is seriously thinking of activating that buy back clause.

Hugo Carezo of Marca has also confirmed the said story by reporting that: “Real Madrid are considering taking up their buy-back option on Joselu, a forward who is currently with Hoffenheim, but who could return to Madrid for €12 million, as stated in his contract. ‘Los Blancos’ sold the striker for €6 million two years ago.”

Joselu spent his last season on loan away from Hoffeinham at Eintracht Frankfurt. The player himself does not want to stay at Hoffenheim and Real Madrid management is aware of his current situation. Real Madrid are also aware that €12 million is little higher than the true worth of the striker and hence, they want to reduce this price.

Joselu and Morata, both started their respective career together at the youth academy of Real Madrid, Castilla and both are good friends with each other. However, now, both are not expected to play together at Real Madrid anytime soon. Morata wants a regular first team football and he knows that he can’t get it at Santiago Bernabeu.

Reportedly, Carlo Ancelotti is impressed with the skill and physique of Joselu. Ancelotti is looking for a tall and strong striker and Joselu perfectly fits into his requirements. The youngster scored 14 goals for Eimtracht Frankfurt last season.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are not the only side who are chasing Joselu. The likes of Hertha Berlin, Sevilla, Villareal, Werder Bremen and West Bromwich Albion have also enquired about him.

Benzema: Real Madrid signing Suarez doesn’t worry me

Real Madrid are hot on trail of Luis Suarez but Karim Benzema claims that he is not at all worried about it.

“I’m not under any special pressure about it [a potential move for Suarez],” Benzema was speaking to Marca. “Suarez is a great player and has had a great season. If he comes, he’ll be a help.”

Benzema also stressed that he does not wish to leave Real Madrid anytime soon.

“I hope to reach an agreement with Madrid,” he said. “There is no other club like this one.

“Every year I feel better and only think about Real. I’m happy here with my family. My parents go where I go; they come to see me a lot.”
