Real Madrid have agreed terms of a contract renewal with coach Carlo Ancelotti and the club is set to announce the new deal in coming days.

Carlo Ancelotti had recently confirmed that he plans to sign the extension with Real Madrid and now, the club is set to make the formal announcement in coming days.

Real Madrid sacked Jose Mourinho last year to appoint Carlo Ancelotti as their new head coach and the Italian made an instant impact on Los Blancos as he was successful in winning much coveted La Decima in his debut season. Real Madrd president Florentino Perez is extremely pleased with the work of Carlo Ancelotti and he wants Italian to prolong his stay in the Spanish capital. Carlo Ancelotti also enjoys the good support of Real Madrid dressing room and all the players also want him extend his stay.

The recent success of Carlo Ancelotti has won him many fans across Europe and the clubs like Manchester United are keeping a tab on the contract situation of the Italian. However, Carlo Anelotti is very happy with his current job at Real Madrid and he has agreed to sign the extension without putting any condition to president Florentino Perez.

Meanwhile, reports coming from Spain have also confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti is ready to sign the extension. Madrid based daily Marca has claimed in its report that: “The contract talks between Florentino Pérez and Carlo Ancelotti have been plain sailing. Barring anything unexpected, a new deal will be announced after the Club World Cup in Morocco – which Real Madrid will be involved in from 16th December – or, at the latest, in the first week of 2015.”

Real Madrid are scheduled to play in Club World Cup in Morocco in the third week of this month and the club has plans to announce the new deal after the conclusion of this tournament.

Another member of Real Madrid who is ready to sign the contract extension is left-back Marcelo. Talking to his fans via Facebook yesterday, Marcelo said that he wants to play for Real Madrid until he retires.

Marcelo said: “I am very happy here and I want to stay here until I retire. When you wear the Real Madrid shirt you should always fight for all of the titles and that is what we always do. We hope to give a lot of joy to our fans and that is our big objective.”
