Chelsea FC’s influential midfielder Nemanja Matic is set to miss their crunch tie against Newcastle Castle, due to suspension. The robust midfielder earned a Yellow Card in Chelsea FC’s 3-0 victory over rivals Tottenham Hotspur. However, Chelsea FC’s hopes would be rekindled as prolific striker Diego Costa is back in the Chelsea FC squad. The Spain International has been one of the driving force in Mourinho’s Chelsea FC. Gary Cahill is declared fit to play against Newcastle despite suffering a head knock against Tottenham Hotspur. A win for Chelsea FC would make their six points gap increase if Manchester City dropped points.
For Newcastle United, injuries and suspension are a worry. Captain Fabricio Coloccini is unlikely to be risked as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury while Mike Williamson, Daryl Janmaat and Sammy Ameobi all face late fitness tests.
Sissoko and Colback missed the midweek draw at Burnley and their return is a welcome boost to Newcastle manager Alan Pardew who has a number of injury concerns.Moussa Sissoko and Jack Colback are expected to return back to first team action against Chelsea FC.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has already declared his interest to construct one of the best Chelsea FC sides ever. The ‘Special One’ commented,
“Because I went around Europe, I had experiences in four different countries,” Mourinho said. “After that I was in conditions to say, where do I like most? Where do I prefer to stay? And I had the chance to choose where I want to work, so for me it was easy to make the decision about England.
“After that, Chelsea. Why Chelsea? Exactly because it was a different project. Because when I came here in 2004 we built a team that was a Chelsea team for about eight, nine years. But eight, nine years in football is an eternity. In eight, nine years people finish careers.
Chelsea FC’s match against Newcastle United has seen some feisty encounters in the past and this tie is already built around the same air of competitiveness as Alan Pardew has rubbished Chelsea FC’s chances of going the whole season unbeaten.
