Jose Mourinho believes that 26 year old defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic is his best player. Although the current Chelsea team consists of talents and live wires such as Eden Hazard and Oscar, Mourinho has dubbed Matic as his main main.
Mourinho said,Ai??ai???He is the best player,He was signed in the most difficult market. Which is for the players who are coming in mid-season, so the last half of the season was for him to improve, not adaptation, as he was a Chelsea player before, but to improve.”
Nemanja Matic was brought back from Portugese giants Benfica, after he went there, in a deal which involved David Luiz moving to Chelsea. Although Chelsea splashed out 21m in January, the Serbian has been one of Mourinho’s key integrals.

Standing at 6ft 4inches, Matic was given a chance to partake in Chelsea’s pre match conference. The defensive mid who has a penchant for controlling play, and often slots in as a third center back, when in need, has been one of the standouts performers in the Premier League.
The Serb was also named Man of the Match, in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Liverpool and was highly appreciated for his tireless work off the work and his game reading abilities.
