A Chennai side, which has dismantled opponents, in their last to wins, take on the unbeaten Delhi Dynamos. Chennaiyin FC however sit third, amassing six points, while Delhi Dynamos, though unbeaten, remain fifth, with two points. Both teams would be looking for a win, as a victory would uplift the hosts to a five and the visitors to nine points.

Player-cum-Coach, Marco Materazzi, who hasn’t laced up his boots yet, could make a debut as a player in the Super League, motivated to stop Dynamo’s Del Piero.

While Del Piero versus Materazzi, looks to be a juicy clash, this match could feature other key battles, more so than Anwar Ali versus Balwant Singh, the first Indian to score a goal in the Super League.

Delhi Dynamo’s manager Harm van Veldhoven, has already grasped the Chennai game and would be looking to break their winning streak.

” What I have seen in Chennai is that they play mostly on the counter. This tactic may seem to have been working for them as they have picked up the points and are looking very dangerous.” said Harm, while talking to the ISL Media Team.

Whereas, Chennaiyin FC manager Marco Materazzi, believes that his side should do the job, and amass three points from this game, which would lead them to a point adrift of league leaders, Atletico de Kolkata.

” For me all that’s important is 3 points. If the guys score 2 goals for us, it’s perfect.” said Materazzi, who could revert to the resolute five men defense.

Both teams are unbeaten in the league, and would be looking to edge each other out, in a fixture which promises to be tactically skillful.
