Manchester United are planning a double swoop of Juan Cuadrado and Wesley Sneijder in the winter transfer window.

Manchester United are in a great run of form at the moment as they are on a winning streak of 5 games. The Red Devils now sit at the 3rd position in English Premier League points table and coach Louis van Gaal wants to further strengthen his squad in the winter transfer window in order to secure a direct entry to the UEFA Champions League next season.

Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado was constantly being linked with a move to Manchester United and FC Barcelona during the summer transfer window but he remained with Tuscans as both the clubs refused to accept the asking price of Italian club.

Wesley Sneijder is being linked with Manchester United since his Inter Milan days but this deal has always failed to materialize due to some unknown reasons.

However, according to the latest reports, Manchester United are hot on trail of both, Cuadrado and Wesley Sneijder.

Juan Cuadrado, who made a name for himself in the World Cup in Brazil, is unhappy with Fiorentina as he is not able to secure the regular playing at the Italian club.

Fiorentina coach Vicenzo Montella is not happy with the attitude shown by Juan Cuadrado on the training ground and he has asked the club management to sale the player in order to free some cash, which will be utilized on signing another top quality midfielder. And reports coming from Italy and England claim that the Red Devils are ready to offer Cuadrado an escape.

However, if they want to succeed in their chase of Juan Cuadrado, Manchester United will have to splash more than 25 million euros as Fiorentina are not willing to sale the winger for less than their asking price.

Another player who is targeted by Manchester United is Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder. Luois van Gaal is looking for an experienced playmaker who can anchor his midfield and sees Wesley Sneijder as the perfect candidate for this job.

Wesley Sneijder is not happy with his current employers Galatasaray as the Turkish giants, because of the ongoing financial crisis, are not being able to pay his wages on time. Wesley Sneijder earns around 2.5 million euros a year with Galatasaray and they are finding it difficult to pay the salary of the Dutchman.

Meanwhile, reports coming from England have also confirmed the interest of Manchester United in Wesley Sneijder. English newspaper Daily Mail has claimed in its report that Wesley Sneijder will look for an escape route out of Galatasaray next month, putting the Premier League on red-alert. And Sportsmail has learned Manchester United and Southampton are among the clubs to have been informed about the Holland midfielder’s desire to quit Turkey in January.
