Manchester United are set to beat Arsenal for £24m rated William Carvalho, while the club is looking for buyers for the likes of Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Shinji Kagawa.

Manchester United has splashed more than 140 pounds during this transfer window but the club is not done with its spending yet. Louis van Gaal has asked the management of Manchester United management to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvaho. Meanwhile, the club is ready to offload Shinji Kagawa, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverly in order to generate some much needed funds.

Reports coming from England have also confirmed the interest of Manchester United in Carvalho. The Telegraph report claims that: “Manchester United are preparing to thwart Arsenal’s attempts to sign William Carvalho after renewing interest in the £24  million-rated Sporting Lisbon midfielder. Louis van Gaal, the manager, is now pressing Ed Woodward, the club’s executive vice-chairman, into securing at least one new midfielder before Monday’s transfer deadline. Van Gaal has also instructed Woodward to find buyers for the likes of Javier Hernández, Anderson and Shinji Kagawa before close of business at 11pm Monday.”

Manchester United have made miserable start to their new season as they are still winless and the club management is ready to splash more money in coming days in an attempt to avoid the repeat of last season.

Arsenal have long been linked with a move for William Carvalho but Arsene Wenger has not made any concrete steps to secure the signing of the Sporting midfielder yet. Now, Manchester United management have decided to steal the march from their Premier League rivals for the signature of Carvalho.

Manchester United have signed Ander Herrera and Angel Di Maria to strengthen their midfield but coach Van Gaal is still not satisfied and he wants to sign another top quality midfielder before the closure of this transfer window.

Meanwhile, the likes of Danny Welbeck, Shinji Kagawa and Tom Cleverly are not required at the club anymore and Manchester United are ready to listen to the offers for aforementioned trio. Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton are said to be interested in signing Dani Welbeck from Manchester United and it will be a big surprise if he remains at Old Trafford after 1st September.

Shinji Kagawa has also failed to make any impact at Old Trafford since his arrival two years ago and United management is ready to let him go in this transfer window. BVB and Atletico Madrid are the interested clubs in his signature.

Tom Cleverly has made some serious blunders this season and Van Gaal has asked the Manchester United management to sale him in order to generate some funds for new signings.
