Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has been deemed fit to make his comeback against Hull City.
Its good news for the Merseyside camp!
It has been understood that captain Steven Gerrard has been passed fit to make his return against Hull City at Anfield later today.
Gerrard trained at Liverpool’s training ground, Melwood yesterday and is ready to be involved in Premier League action.
His return to the Liverpool squad is a major boost for the team and manager Brendan Rodgers who has many first team players out with injury. Joe Allen and Mamadou Sakho were the most recent ones to be sidelined from the squad and the Liverpool midfield was clearly looking weak. With Gerrard back, he will fit right back in Allen’s place in the heart of the Liverpool team.
It is not sure whether Rodgers would start with the captain, or would introduce him sometime in the second half.
Jordan Henderson and Luis Suarez have both recovered from the ‘knocks’ they suffered in the Chelsea game.
