Both teams even after securing victory may not qualify for the playoff and will have to depend on other results. Both the teams would be hoping Chennayin FC beat Delhi Dyanmos. Now with  Athletico de Kolkata failed to secure victory over Mumbai FC, the chances of Pune City FC and Kerala Blasters to secure playoff slots have increased. If Kolkata failed to  win against in form FC Goa and one of the two teams gets maximum points from the fixture on Tuesday they would go through. The match expected to be cracker of the game.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar always scored runs in heaps but the same can’t be said about his team, which finding difficult to score goals on the football field. Kerala Blasters is one of the lowest scoring team in the league. David James led team have looked impressive in building up the play, but found wanting in front of the goal. Except Canadian international David Hume not many have posed a threat in front of the goal. C. S Sabeeth was starting to look impressive, but for some unknown reason the young Indian striker fell out of favour. David James has a groin injury, but his replacement Sandip Nandy has done excellent under the bars. Kerala has to play patient football get men in the box and try to take an early lead against Pune City. The fans’ support would be massive if they able to score one goal in opening minutes of the game. The defence doesn’t have much of a problem and continue to look solid against Pune city in the important game.
