With the Transfer Deadline Date extended yet again, more foreign players are set to grace the Indian Subcontinent. The eight franchisees are set to scout players and sign them, at will, before the end of the transfer sagas.

The Hard Tackle reported earlier that Former Brazil captain Alexsandro de Souza was set to join, Virat Kohli co-owned franchisee, FC Goa. However, The Hard Tackle now understands that the deal has been compromised and failed consequently, due to the player’s medical conditions.

Doubts were raised by the Goan Franchisee over the age of Alex, who is already 37. The Goan franchisee wanted to play safe and buy players who would evolve and grow over the next few years along-with injecting the team with global experience, The Hard Tackle believes.

With the Alex deal failing, The Goan franchisee has already signed an overseas player as well as an Indian player, names still eluding The Hard Tackle. If rumors are to be believed than this overseas player, is ‘better’ and more tactically fit into the team than Alex. The Hard Tackle believes that a deal has been already done and the player’s name is set to be announced by the 28th of September.

FC Goa are set to play Team Chennai on the 15th of October, as per the new revised schedule.
