Already making their way into the coveted four semi final spots, FC Goa would be looking to cement their place in the top four when they take on Kerala Blasters. Third place Kerala Blasters are already flaunting a hefty undefeated streak and would to look to add more more to their tally.
“We have to take it one game at a time. We have another match on November 26 against Kerala Blasters FC and we want to go out and win it,” said Zico
“Everyone has the right to play well. We did so in the first half and they did in the second. In Pune, we had the opportunities to score but were unable to get a goal. Today, they had chances but didn’t score. Football is like that,” said Zico after FC Goa’s win against FC Pune City.
Meanwhile, inform striker Tolgay Ozbey believed that FC Goa now has to win all their home games, starting from the one against Kerala Blasters.
“Realistically, I expect six points in our two home games. That’s all we want. If we win those two matches, we’re in the top four. Chennai and Kolkata away will both be tough matches, but we’re taking it one game at a time. Our next match is against Kerala Blasters FC at home, and we’re going to be playing for all three points, nothing less.” said Ozbey while talking to the ISL Media Team.
Both Kerala Blasters and FC Goa would be looking to grab all three points and cement their places in the top four. As the scenario stands, FC Goa are in fourth with twelve points, while Kerala Blasters are in third with fifteen points.
