Coming off the back of a 4-1 victory against a resolute Chennaiyin FC side, the unbeaten Dynamos square things of against NorthEast United, and coach Harm van Veldhoven believes that concentration would be the key, as his side will play two matches in four days.
“We did well in the last match but it’s more difficult to maintain it. This team we our playing tomorrow has 7 points and is a good team. We have to concentrate on this game now and react properly after the previous win,” said van Veldhoven, at the pre-match press conference ahead of their fixture against NorthEast United FC.
“The teams which we have recently played have been ahead of us and we are now used to it. We have to concentrate on our formation and quality of performance.” pointed out the Dynamo’s Gaffer.
As the league has progressed, van Veldhoven believes that there was now more chemistry within every squad, he said , “Now preparation is more professional. Also, there is more gelling and coordination between the Indian and the foreign players. When you watch other teams play, you also get an idea from them.”
“I want the team to play together. Further, we are training in a technical and tactical way, which will hopefully make Indian football better. The Indian talent can use this training and competition to make the national team better.” the Dutch further elaborated
Steven Dias, who captivated the Delhi audience with his superb crossing abilities, understands that the Super League will improve his game, “To be able to play with highly skilled foreign players helps me perform better. This is a different experience with regards to training, diet and facilities provided and will surely help me improve my game.” he said, talking to the ISL Media Team.
