FC Barcelona are looking for some more creativity in their squad and now, it is looking increasingly likely that Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado will be playing at Camp Nou next season.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo has confirmed today that the new boss of Barcelona, Luis Enrique has given his consent to the capture of Cuadrado and the Fiorentina star will be playing at Camp Nou next season.

FC Barcelona have long been interested in the services of Cuadrado but the club management was waiting for the “yes” of their new coach. Cuadrado was one of the best players of  Serie A last season turning in a flurry of skillful performances and scoring an impressive 11 goals in 30 appearances.

The Colombian international getting acceptance as the world’s best dribbler and as a result, some of the biggest European clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, Zenith and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in him. But the lure of Barcelona have faded away the interest of these clubs and the player could move to Catalunya for a fee of 30 million euros.

It was reported earlier that the arrival of new coach at Barca would derail their attempts to sign the youngster but now, Enrique himself has given his approval for the deal.

Born in Necoclí, Cuadrado began his club career at Colombian club Atlético Uraba. He made his professional debut with  Independiente Medellin and Udinese lured him away to Italy. Impressed with his skillful displays, Fiorentina came calling for his services where he is the fan favorite. Now the interest of Barcelona is considered as the confirmation of his world class talent.

The move of Cuadrado is expected to start a mary-go-rounds of transfers as FC Barcelona will be looking to off load either Pedro Rodriguez or Alexis Sanchez.

Premier League club Liverpool is said to be interested in Pedro while Italian giants Juventus have set their eyes on Chilean star Alexis Sanchez.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona’s management has also planned a complete overhaul of their squad and this transfer could prove to be a start of flurry of new signings for a Catalan club. Barcelona have already announced that they will not be loaning back Rafinha and Gerard Deulofeu to Celta Vigo and Everton respectively.

Barca are also looking for Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic. And the biggest area of worry for Barca at the moment is that of defence. Their defence was brutally exposed last season on many occasions and Enrique believes that this is going to be his first priority in the summer. Chelsea defender David Luiz and PSG captain Tiago Silva are his primary transfer targets.
