Chelsea FC are set to be without the services of Cesc Fabregas and Thiabut Courtois, when they take on to the field against Hull City. While,Cesc Fabregas is suspended following a string of yellow cards, Courtois is set to be sidelined by injury, following a knock suffered in training. Jose Mourinho believes that these scenarios would not thwart Chelsea FC’s chances of winning against a Hull City side, which is already running low on form and morale.
‘It’s just our philosophy,’ said Mourinho. ‘Fabregas obviously has been amazing for us and is playing fantastically well but he is suspended tomorrow so we don’t think about him. We trust the other person that will have a chance to play, and Fabregas will be fresh to play against Derby. said Mourinho.
Fabregas has been a revelation to Chelsea FC, eversince the Spanish International arrived from Barcelona in the summer of 2014. The robust midfielder has formed a formidable pairing with Nemanja Matic and have dominated Premeir League midfields.
Meanwhile, Thiabut Courtois has been on of Mourinho’s loyal servants. The imposing Belgian has impressed in his outings in Chelsea FC’s campaign so far. His reflexes have been pivotal in crunch Chelsea FC matches. Although Chelsea FC would be without the imposing Belgian, Mourinho could easily replace him with Petr Cech, who has been sidelined ever since the arrival of Courtois.
‘Courtois had a little problem in training, a little muscular problem and he’s not available for tomorrow. It’s a chance for Petr and a chance for Mark to be on the bench so we’re more than comfortable.
‘We have played Petr in three Champions League matches and every Capital One Cup game and he has always had our confidence. He has absolutely nothing to prove to me, to the club, to his team-mates or to the supporters.
‘It’s an easy, simple situation for him: go and play, which is what he has done his entire career. It’s very comfortable for me, for the players and for the fans to know our goalkeeper tomorrow is Petr Cech.
‘It’s his natural habitat to be in goal and not on the bench. That’s why since the beginning of the season I have kept saying it’s perfect for me to have Petr in the squad.’
Chelsea FC would look to bury their horrid outing against Newcastle United, wherein the London based club lost 2-1, putting an end to their undefeated streak of 14 matches in the Premier League. Chelsea FC would be looking to thrash a Hull City side, already running low on morale and form.
