The FA Cup third round ties were announced moments earlier and it certainly raised a few eyebrows as current holders Arsenal will face Hull City at home in a game that will be a rematch of last season’s final at the Wembley.

The competition is known for the giant killing action that usually happens at the early stages and there is every possibility that the fans will witness such a prospect as the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Swansea and Crystal Palace face away trips to lower division sides.

Other than the Arsenal vs Hull City tie, Wimbledon’s clash against Liverpool will be another intriguing encounter as it’ll bring back the memories when the two sides faced each other in 1988. Liverpool were at their domination best but lost to the less fancied Wimbledon in the final back then.
