Chennaiyin FC entertain Mumbai City FC, in Match 15 of the Super League.Mumbai City FC would be hoping for their second win of the season, after NorthEast United defeated them 2-0, last time around. The contingent which boasts the strongest squad on paper, has not made an impressive start to their inaugural season.

“We have got a really good squad. André Moritz, Subhash Singh, Lalrindika Ralte, and Anelka are top class players and it is a game that we are looking forward to.” said Head Coach Peter Reid, in the pre match press conference

Peter Reid, would be looking to nullify Chennaiyin’s marquee player Elano, who has been impressive so far, converting two free kicks.

“We know it is a difficult game. We are playing against some very good players,Elano, who I know from his Manchester City days, is amazing in dead ball situations and has an amazing technique.”

“I am an optimist by nature, but if there is a worrying factor that I have, it is that we are putting ourselves under tremendous pressure by conceding stupid free kicks,Should we have a chance of succeeding against this team and the quality of Elano, we will have to cut out the stupid free kicks. We must have better discipline.” bemoaned Reid.

The ‘Indian Spiderman’, Subrata Paul, also acknowledged this fact, he added “Concentration is going to be key. The coach has instructed the team to show more discipline when it comes to conceding free-kicks and fouls.” , while talking to the ISL Media Team
