Chelsea FC’s Eden Hazard has been in the thick of transfer rumors and speculations, ever since the dynamic Belgian impressed with his performances for the Blues. Although, Hazard’s contract with Chelsea does not run out until 2017, Chelsea FC would be hoping to extend the Belgian’s contract, as he has been one of the standout performers for Jose Mourinho’s side. Chelsea FC are set to make him ‘an offer he can’t refuse’ and make him one of their top earners with new terms being offered.

Hazard has been in talks with Chelsea FC since September and Chelsea FC are expected to produce a deal worth around £200,000 a week, which runs for five years. Jose Mourinho had expected the deal to be done and dusted by October, but the midfielder has continued to flirt with the club and nothing concrete has been done so far.

Meanwhile, Hazard has garnered suitors with his swift style of play. European Giants Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid, have been admirers of the Belgian, in the past. But Chelsea FC, would be hoping to keep one of the hottest talents in Europe with themselves.

Eden Hazard is arguably one of the best emerging talents in Europe, and has often acted as a lynch pin in Mourinho’s Chelsea FC. The robust Belgian, who could play as a Left Winger, Creative Midfielder and even as a Second Striker has been sensational in Chelsea FC’s glorious run of form. Chelsea FC are undefeated in their campaign so far, and have collected 34 points in 14 games in the Premier League.

Chelsea FC’s Jose Mourinho is confident that Eden Hazard will sign the contract extension and believes that the Belgian would surely commit his future to the Blues.

“You look at the age of the players… Drogba and John over 30. After that, below 30. Ivanovic is at that limit. All the other guys are very young.

“If they’re happy to be here, like Oscar is showing with a new contract, like Eden is showing: he will sign a new contract sooner or later. They can basically be the Chelsea team for the next few years.” said Mourinho .

“Don’t worry with his contract, because he’s not worried. We are not worried. The board has to know before you.” added Mourinho.

Chelsea FC would go guns blazing to extend the contract of Eden Hazard. The robust Belgain, was one of the standout performers in Chelsea FC’s 3-0 win over Tottenham and scored the opening goal against Spurs.
