Chelsea are set to make a staggering offer for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale, according to Tuttomercatoweb. Gareth Bale who has also been linked to Manchester United lately, could be sold around the region of 90m.

Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid has been put under shadows, ever since the Welshman was replaced by fan favorite Isco. Gareth Bale who moved from Tottenham Hotspurs to Real Madrid for a hefty price tag, has been linked with a move back to the Premier League in these past few weeks.

Bale, was also linked to Manchester United in the past but his agent, denied all allegations of moving back to the Premier League. However Real Madrid might flog Bale away as soon as January, if reports coming from Spain are to believed.

The Welshman, has emerged as a top contender which Chelsea are gunning for, given that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is a fan of Bale’s style of play.

If Chelsea are set to acquire the services of Gareth Bale, then the London side could quiet easily boast the best midfield in Europe. Gareth Bale, is known for sudden burst of acceleration, quick feet and his tremendous left foot. The 25 year old has slowly and gradually made his way into one of the most dangerous left wingers in the world list.

Although, Chelsea might be gunning for his signature, old rivals Manchester United are believed to clash swords again.

Manchester United who are reeling the Premier League brought Angel di Maria over to Old Trafford, but the Argentine has not collected support from the rest of the United contingent, and it seems that Bale’s transfer to United would give di Maria, another player of his wavelength.

Manchester United would be looking to save their season, as the side already are sitting disappointingly at seventh. Although, United did win in the game week, their performance was not as stellar as expected, given the number of stars featuring in the side.

It is not rocket science that United need Bale more than Chelsea, but Gareth Bale’s personal interests could play a pivotal part here, as the Welshman has had a taste of the Champions League, which was why he left England at the first place.

As it stands, Chelsea are looking likely to win the coveted Premier League and could even pose a heavy assault for the Champions League. Although a move in January for Gareth Bale seems unlikely, both Chelsea and Manchester United could be battling for the 25 year old’s signature come the summer transfer window.

And if, Manchester United qualify for the Champions League places this season, there could be a real war of bids between these two fierce rivals.
