Chelsea FC’s Diego Costa is sidelined with suspension and will miss the Blues’s crunch encounter against Tottenham Hotspur. The prolific Spanish International, Costa, is serving a one match ban after seeing five yellow cards in his Premier League campaign thus far, with the latest being against Sunderland. Chelsea FC’ young midfielder Nathan Ake is also sidelined due to a Hamstring injury and is expected to miss the match. Chelsea FC could miss the prolific Diego Costa, who has been a revelation for the London based club. The sensational striker has been a key figure in Chelsea FC’s impressive attacking trident. However, Jose Mourinho believes that the life must go on and regardless of Costa, Chelsea FC would be looking to hammer their London counterparts.

““We don’t cry about injured players or about suspended players. If he’s suspended, he’s suspended. He can rest, he can be fresh against Newcastle. Against Tottenham, Drogba and Remy will have their opportunity to start the game. No problem, let’s go.” said Jose Mourinho, while talking to BBC.

Meanwhile, Tottenham would be looking to rue Chelsea’s party with their own sinister plans. After earning a hard fought victory against Everton, Spurs would be looking to continue and build on their form, and even if a win is not achieveable, Spurs could cash in on a point and play out a draw. Tottenham have six players injured to date, Vlad Chiriches (knock), Etienne Capoue (knock), Emmanuel Adebayor (back), Andros Townsend (ankle), Danny Rose (chest), Kyle Walker (groin).

Although Ciriches, Townsend and Rose are expected to be fit for their clash against Chelsea FC, Kyle Walker would be fit by the end of the week.

Talking to Daily Mail, Tottenham’s Hary Kane expressed his thoughts on the match he said, ““We’re full of confidence. Obviously we are coming off three wins in a row now in all competitions, so we’ll take that confidence into the game on Wednesday.”

“We’re looking to get the result. Obviously Chelsea are going to be trying to do the same at home, but they are missing their main man up front. So they have to change a few things, and we’re feeling good.”

Chelsea might be missing ‘their main man’ upfront but the Jose Mourinho side is expected to replace him, with yet another prolific talent in Didier Drogba, who has an outstanding record of scoring against Tottenham.
