Neymar’s agent Wagner Ribeiro has launched a stunning verbal attack on Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, calling him an “old jerk”.

Luiz Felipe Scolari’s future as the manager of the Brazilian national team has come under immense scrutiny following their humiliating loss against Germany in the semi-final and now Neymar’s agent has launched a verbal attack on the former Chelsea coach, labelling him as an “old jerk”.

In an astonishing match, Germany decimated Brazil 1-7 in the first semi-final of the World Cup on Tuesday and Luiz Felipe Scolari’s men went down in the history books for all the wrong reasons. It was Brazil’s biggest ever defeat in the World Cup and their first home defeat since 1975.

The Germans were the favourites heading into the game as Brazil were considerably weakened due to the absence of Neymar and Thiago Silva, but none could have predicted such a one-sided encounter. The match was marked out as the darkest point in Brazilian football history, according to many, and Scolari has come under staunch criticism in the following days.

Now in a stunning verbal attack on Scolari, Wagner Ribeiro, agent of Barcelona forward Neymar, has listed down the Brazilian manager’s achievements in his managerial career which warranted his place at the helm of Brazilian football.

“One – being Portugal coach and winning nothing. Two – going to Chelsea and being sacked the following day.

“Three – going to coach in Uzbekistan. Four – returning to Brazil, taking over a big club (Palmeiras) and getting them relegated to the second division.

“Five – leaving the club 56 days before the end of the domestic league season. Six – being an old jerk, arrogant, repulsive, conceited and ridiculous.” – Ribeiro said in an interview.

Scolari is expected to lose his job after Brazil face Netherlands in the match to decide the third spot. Former Corinthians manager Tite is believed to be the favourite to replace him, while Sao Paulo manager Muricy Ramalho has also received backing from some quarters.
