Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has said that he is not happy with his squad’s efforts in the practice sessions.

Scolari has already selected his 23 man squad for the upcoming World Cup and regular practice sessions are going on with Brazil scheduled to play a friendly game against Panama tomorrow.

However, speaking after end of his training session today, Scolari admitted that he is not happy with the way things are going as players are not able to adapt to his method of teaching.

Scolari has said that he will be extra careful before selecting his squad for a friendly against Panama.

“I did not like the training, I did not like anything, all wrong,” Scolari was speaking to a Brazilian news channel.

“When I do not like something I have to find a solution, put it on the field, until I’m satisfied.”

Meanwhile, captain Thiago Silva is injured and will not be playing in both of his sides’ friendlies.
“Thiago is recuperating…we have two friendly games before the World Cup and it is preferable that he gets better,” Scolari confirmed.

Other players who are still struggling with their injuries are Chelsea star Oscar and Tottenham midfielder Paulinho. Paulinho and Thiago Silva, both received minor injruies during the week at Brazil’s Granja Comary training complex.

Inter Milan midfielder Hernanes is expected to start alongside Luiz Gustavo in the heart of the midfield on Tuesday.

Neymar will be the World Cup’s star: Captain Thiago Silva

Brazil captain Thiago Silva believes that Barcelona ace Neymar could be the biggest star of this World Cup.

Neymar moved to Barcelona last summer but failed to impress the pundits with his attacking game. The former Santos man scored only 9 goals in La Liga this year and he was more in news for his transfer related controversy.

However, PSG defender Thiago Silva is very optimistic about the Neymar’s chance to shine at the World Cup.

“Our strength has always been the collective quality of our group,” Thiago Silva was speaking to Spainsh newspaper El Mundo Deportivo. “We’re good as a team, we’re ready and we hope to have a great World Cup.

“But certainly Neymar is a triumph of individuality. Neymar will be the World Cup’s star.”

Brazil are considered as the pre-tournaments favorites as they will be having a home ground advantage. And Silva too, stressed that he has a confidence that his nation will emerge triumphant in this tournament.

“We have confidence we can win. I will do it for all of us, all Brazilians, to live that special moment.” The captain concluded.
