Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata’s Players’ Agent Juanma Lopez has said that the player is a little closer to Juventus move.

Spain U-21 star Alvaro Morata has become a hot property in this transfer window, when he announced his intentions to leave Real Madrid. The Real Madrid striker has notched up 11 goals in Spanish capital last season. Playing second fiddle to an attack comprising of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema meant that his playing time was very limited. The rise of youngster Jese Rodriguez ahead of him in the pecking order also meant that the player had to wait for his chance on many occasions.

Spanish sports daily Marca had reported that: “Álvaro Morata looks almost certain to try to engineer a move away from Real Madrid. The striker decided back in January that he wants to leave behind ‘Los Blancos’ and find the game time which he has been denied over the past two seasons somewhere else.

The lack of playing time has been a hindrance to the growth of a potential super star. Alvaro Morata, decided to part ways with Real Madrid in-order to establish himself in the football world. He wasn’t happy to sit on the bench and the availability of a potential superstar has prompted the clubs accros Europe to make enquiries for the young Spanish striker. Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata had 11 offers from clubs Europe to choose his next destination.

The clubs in the queue of his signature included English Premier League sides Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. Italian Serie A sides Inter Milan and Juventus were also there along with German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg. Even though a host of Spanish clubs were interested in securing Alvaro Morata, the likes of Arsenal and Juventus were always ahead of the others in the pecking order.

Recently some reports had emerged that the striker was close to a deal with Juventus. Juventus has a plethora of options available at the striking department including Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente, Fabio Quagliarella, Sebastian Giovinco, Domenico Berardi etc. This had raised some concerns over Alvaro Morata’s quest for playing time and there was uncertainty regarding the same.

Real Madrid are willing to let Alvaro Morata leave the club in search of regular playing time. But they are insistent on putting a buy-black clause in his transfer, to get back an established striker after few years. Players’ Agent Juanma Lopez, who was in Real Madrid office today has revealed that Alvaro Morata is a little closer to Juventus move. If Reports in AS and Goal are to be believed, Alvaro Morata’s Real Madrid exit is imminent and he is likely to join Italian Serie A champions Juventus FC.
