AC Milan had a disastrous first half of the season but have somewhat began to recover in past few rounds. Last weekend’s facile win over Bologna at home ensured that Milan moved to 6th spot in the table, leapfrogging AS Roma. If rumours are to be believed then AC Milan might become even stronger in second half of the season with new transfers around the corner.
Having failed to cement a starting place in Real Madrid’s starting XI, Kaka looks all set to make a return to the club which made him one of the best players in the world. It is quite clear that the Brazilian doesn’t feature in Jose Mourinho’s long term plans and this transfer can work well for both Kaka and Milan. The Rossoneri have often lacked creativity and spark upfront – something Kaka can provide aplenty. Despite not playing regular first team football, Kaka has performed well when given a chance and he can very likely succeed in Max Allegri’s system. Recent rumours suggest that AC Milan may bring him on loan for now.
AC Milan can bolster their squad further by adding mercurial striker Mario Balotelli to their ranks. The former Inter striker looks to have burnt his last bridge with Roberto Mancini at the City of Manchester Stadium and multiple sources are reporting that Balotelli will no longer be a Man City player by end of this week. As per reports City is asking for a £31m but may have to settle for a figure of £24m finally. “Super Mario” has been linked with AC Milan in the past as well but may make his move this time around given his disciplinary problems in Manchester City.
